The American Children’s Society is registered with State Agencies and with the Internal Revenue Service in the United States of America. It is a 501c (3) charity, which helps disadvantaged and ill children along with their families regardless of their religion, creed, or race. They rely on nothing but public donations and well-wishers to maintain their operations. They improve upon the social services that are in existence presently but at times take too long a time to respond to various issues. The headquarters of this organization are located in New Jersey, with offices in Missouri, Kansas, and Pennsylvania. The formation of this charity was to improve the life quality of kids who have cancer, among whom survival rates towards teenage years, is doubtful. Cancer has grown to become the main death causing disease amongst children, and this charity collaborates with other children’s organizations, medical centers, and hospitals in identifying families most distressed financially as a result of children’s malignancy. Following this identification, assistance is offered to these families in lieu of transportation, equipment, treatment, medical bills as well as other pressing household expenses. The statistics for childhood cancer speak for themselves, as twelve thousand children below nineteen years of age are diagnosed with suffering from cancer per year in the united states, thirty five new diagnoses a day and two hundred thousand or more adults, teens and children are cancer survivors of cancer in their childhoods. The American Children’s Society relies on donations of various forms of transportation, such as boats, recreational vehicles, trucks, and cars. It is billed as a convenient and tax deductible way to support the fight against children’s cancer. Hassles that are often undergone when trying to sell off a vehicle are reduced through vehicle donation, such as having strangers at one’s home, advertising costs and the sometimes inability to sell of the car. The advantages of donating a vehicle to the American Children’s Society are prompt tax deductible information, not having to wait until the car sells for the determination to be made. Free pickup of the vehicle from its current station as well as free towing using the society’s own trucks is provided. Pickups are normally handled on a same day basis. When the vehicle is being picked up, receipts that certify the vehicle’s donation along with the forms for IRS purposes are supplied. The society accepts vehicles in any condition, whether non-running or running. Also accepted are real estate and motorcycles. Highly qualified tax consultants are on hand to explain confusing tax laws to those willing to donate vehicles, as it operates its own centers for automotive donation. This is all for the benefit of needy children along with their relations, who require transportation to medical treatment facilities. The convenience of the person willing to donate a vehicle is placed at a high premium, as pickup appointments, vehicle pickup and any pickup deviations are all at the donator’s convenience. This service is available at any time of day, every day of the week.
